PawKeepers Introduction

pawkeepers2Welcome to PawKeepers Dog DayCare Located in Altoona PA 16601, The Place To Be If Your A Doggie.  Please feel free to contact us to schedule a meet and greet and ask us any questions you may have about the services we offer.  We can not wait to meet you and your dog(s) and welcome them in to the PawKeepers Family.  We are currently accepting New Applications for dogs for our daycare services.  Our Day Care service accepts dogs of all sizes, though we do have certain requirements for all dogs that we care for.  Of course, all dogs must be up to date on all their shots and vaccines, and you must provide proof and documentation, please see here for details.  PawKeepers does not accept Bully Breeds of any kind, under any circumstance, and all dogs that we take in must not be aggressive or show any aggression towards other dogs or people.

We have nothing against bully breeds, or pit bulls, we actually have rescued 2 pitballs over the past few years and they are an amazing dog.  Unfortunately, their bites and the ability to latch on can cause devastating damage if a fight were to break out and the fight may not even be the bully breeds fault and they are just defending themselves,  but this risk is something that we can accept b/c we could never forgive ourselves if something like that were to ever happen at PawKeepers.  For that reason we will not accept any dogs that show aggression towards other dogs or humans.  All dogs at PawKeepers, must be socialized with other dogs and know how to play nice with others.  Unfortunately, we do not accept any bully breeds at PawKeepers b/c of the risk involved and the fact that it only takes one time.

pawkeepersWe at PawKeepers have nothing against bully breeds and do all we can to help those who are neglected and pit bulls who are viciously used by humans for the sick and disgusting act of dog fighting.  We at PawKeepers donate a portion of all of our profits to help rehabilitate these animals and find good homes for them.  A pitbull in a loving home will be the most loyal dog you ever have and will go above and beyond to protect you and your family and if socialized correctly, the primal instinct for which they were bred to due, will subside.  Unfortunately we at pawkeepers will not and can not take that risk of an accident occurring and though we have opened our home in the past for pitbulls to be rescued, we will not and can not put our customers beloved pets in that type of situation.  It only take one time and the bite is so strong that the consequences could be a disaster and for that reason we will not allow any pitbulls, or bully breeds, or any aggressive dog for that matter at PawKeepers.  Often times the smallest dogs can be the most aggressive.  So if your dog shows any type of aggression towards other dogs or humans, unfortunately they we will not be able to care for them, here at PawKeepers.

We do accept all other breeds, whether big or small and we welcome them with open arms at PawKeepers.  PawKeepers has 3 resident dogs on the property at all times.  They are Makiea Reagan – Chocolate Lab, Kashmira Raelyn – Yellow Lab, and Laila Raeanna – Newfoundland.  They are excited and ready to get to work and start the meet and greets.  We require a meet and greet for all of our customers to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the environment your dog will be staying at, or having daycare at.  This also gives us a chance to see how your dog reacts with others, and to see if it will be a good fit for both parties.  Our girls are excited to meet some new friends and to get to work.  They are going to keep the pups active, busy, and of course their will be plenty of puppy naps, and they will ensure that when you are ready to pick them up that they will be puppy pooped.  Please email us at: admin@pawkeepers.com, call us at: 814-799-0131, or use our website to contact us on our contact page at:  http://pawkeepers.com/pawkeepers-contact-us/.
